Pro Plastering Machine 5100

Pro Sıvamatik 5100 Surface Preparation, Application, and Rules Guide

Surface Preparation

  • The surface to be applied must be completely freed from mold oil, dust, paint, and adhesion-reducing substances.

  • Cracks and holes must be repaired prior to application using the same material or suitable Modew Repair Mortar.

  • If the application surface is dry and hot, it must be moistened with water.

  • On surfaces like aerated concrete, priming should be done 1 day before application using Wallbond 5001, while on smooth surfaces like exposed concrete, a preliminary spatter dash (Ön Serpme Sıvası) should be applied 1 day prior.

  • Application is commenced after the surface dries.

Application

  • 5100 PROSIVAMATİK is mixed with a ready-plaster machine and sprayed onto the surface using $4.5 – 5.5\text{ lt}$ of water per $25\text{ kg}$ bag.

  • The application thickness in a single layer should be between $1\text{ cm}$ and $2.5\text{ cm}$.

  • If the thickness exceeds $2.5\text{ cm}$, the second layer is applied at a maximum thickness of $2.5\text{ cm}$ after the first layer has set.

  • The surface is screeded (mastered).

  • Following this process, once the plaster has sufficiently hardened, the plaster surface is floated (triffled) and finished using a damp sponge.
