Oil, dirt, or anti-adhesive materials must be cleaned from the surface, and substances like mortar and cement residues must be scraped off.
-
Repairs for surface defects deeper than $2\text{ cm}$ must be carried out 24 hours before application using MODEW Repair Mortar.
-
In cases where structural repair mortar is required, PROEDIT 5045 Repair Mortar should be used.
Application
-
If there are irregularities on the surface, PROFIRE 5040 thermal insulation board is applied continuously along its four edges and as three dabs in the middle of the board, taking care that the adhesive does not overflow onto the board edges.
-
If the surface is very smooth, application can be performed with the PROFIRE 5040 combing method using a $10 \times 10$ notched trowel on the back of the board.
-
During application, care must be taken to ensure that PROFIRE 5040 does not form a film on the surface.
-
Insulation boards glued with PROFIRE 5040 must be dowelled at least 24 hours later, after which plaster application should be performed on the boards using MODEW Insulation Plaster.
