Surface Preparation

• The surface must be dry, clean, sound, and free of dust.

• Oil, dirt, or anti-adhesive materials must be cleaned from the surface, and substances like mortar and cement residues must be scraped off.

• The moisture content of the surface should be a maximum of %5.

• New concrete structures should be left to dry for a minimum of 28 days.

• While Pro Mastik 5022 provides excellent adhesion to many surfaces even without using a primer, the surface-preparing Pro Mastik 5022 primer should be used on joint edges depending on the surface type in cases where the surface cannot be completely freed from dust or in places that may be exposed to high mechanical impact.

Application

• The Pro Mastik 5022 sausage product must be placed inside a gun with a suitable nozzle, and the tip of the gun must be cut at a $45^{\circ}$ angle.

• It should be squeezed continuously and slowly, ensuring that Pro Mastik 5022 completely contacts the joint edges and leaves no air gaps inside.

• After filling the surface, Pro Mastik 5022 should be smoothed by pressing lightly towards the joint edges without overflowing, and its adhesion to the edges should be ensured.
