Surface Preparation

  • Care must be taken to ensure that the application surface is solid, dry, load-bearing, dust-free, clean, and level.

  • The surface must be thoroughly cleaned from any oil, grease, rust, and paraffin residues that would weaken adhesion, and there should be no loose particles on the surface.

  • Defective surfaces with a depth of 5 to 20 mm must be repaired with ProEdit 5045 Repair Mortars two days in advance.

  • If the temperature of the application surface is above $+25^{\circ}\text{C}$, the surface must be dampened.

Application

  • A $1\text{ mm}$ thick layer of PROGRANİT 5015 is applied to the application surface using the flat side of the trowel.

  • PROGRANİT 5015 is pulled in a single direction with the notched side of the trowel to achieve a uniform thickness over an area that can be covered within the 20-minute open time.

  • When bonding ceramics or granites of different thicknesses, it is recommended to apply a $1\text{ mm}$ thick layer of mortar under each ceramic or granite to cover irregularities on the application surface.

  • While placing the ceramics or granites into position, the ceramic or granite is floated within the mortar to ensure complete contact with PROGRANİT 5015.

  • The application is completed by leaving the recommended joint spacing according to the appropriate ceramic or granite size.

Category:
  • It is used for bonding large-format coating materials such as ceramics, granite, marble, natural stone, and porcelain, featuring high bonding strength, an elastic character, reduced slip property, and resistance to thermal changes, water, and frost.

Advantageous Features

  • It is easy to prepare and apply.

  • Application speed increases because the adhesive mortar does not need to be applied to the back surface of the slabs.

  • Thanks to its fluid consistency, it is easily and quickly applied to the surface with a notched trowel.

  • Its working time is long.

  • It has high adhesion strength.

  • It is resistant to the freeze-thaw cycle.

Areas of Use

  • Pro Granit 5015 is used indoors and outdoors, on factory floors, terraces, and in horizontal-vertical wall applications.
