Surface Preparation

• The application surface and boards must be sound and cleaned of substances that prevent adhesion, such as dust, oil, tar, pitch, paint, silicone, curing agents, detergents, and mold oils. The boards to be plastered must be sound and firmly seated in place, and the gaps between them must be closed with Multi-Purpose Polyurethane Foam or the same material.

Application

• At least 24 hours after dowelling the thermal insulation board, the first coat of plaster is applied onto the boards with a trowel at a thickness of approximately 2-3 mm. While the applied mortar is still wet, the Plaster Mesh is pressed from top to bottom, tensioned, and embedded into the mortar. Approximately 6 hours later, the surface is moistened and the second coat of plaster (covering the mesh with a thickness of 2-3 mm and making the surface smooth) is applied. To prevent cracking, the mesh is overlapped by 10 cm at joint areas. For painting, it is necessary to wait 2-3 days depending on weather conditions and application thickness. If the air temperature is high after the application is completed, moisten the surface until the cement sets.
