Surface Preparation

  • Care must be taken to ensure that the application surface is solid, dry, load-bearing, dust-free, clean, and also level.

  • The surface must be thoroughly cleaned from all kinds of oil, grease, rust, and paraffin residues, and there should be no loose particles on the surface.

  • Defective surfaces with a depth of 5 to 20 mm must be repaired with modew Repair Mortar two days in advance.

  • If the temperature of the surface to be applied is above $+25^{\circ}\text{C}$, the surface must be dampened.

  • On gypsum-based surfaces, high-absorbency gypsum-cardboard, gypsum-plaster, aerated concrete, lime plaster, and chipboard, wallbond 5001 Primer is applied.

  • Bonding can proceed 5 minutes after primer application.

  • On PVC-based surfaces, the existing PVC coating must be firmly adhered to the ground.

  • Any material reducing adhesion must be cleaned from the surface, and the surface should be roughened with sandpaper and primed with wallbond 5001 Primer.

  • On metal surfaces, indoor metal surfaces (steel, aluminum, etc.) must be firmly fixed so that they do not move.

  • The surface must be freed from adhesion-reducing substances such as rust, dirt, dust, and oil, and primed with wallbond 5001 Primer.

  • For wood chip-based surfaces (OSB and Wood Chips), wood chip boards must contain a maximum of %10 moisture.

Category:
  • It is an improved, cement-based adhesive with high bonding power, high elasticity, reduced slip property, extended working time, and resistance to thermal changes, water, and frost, used for bonding large-format coating materials such as ceramic, granite ceramic, granite, marble, natural stone, and porcelain.

Advantageous Features

  • It has high adhesion strength.

  • Thanks to its S2 class flexibility feature, it is resistant to surface stresses caused by sudden temperature changes.

  • It is resistant to all kinds of climate conditions.

  • It does not slip in vertical surface applications.

  • It has a long working time.

  • It can be easily combed.

Areas of Use

  • Pro Flex Maxi 5060 is used for bonding coating materials such as ceramics with low water absorption rates onto sound, dust-free, and low-water-absorption cement-based plasters, screeds, primed concrete, old ceramic-coated surfaces, and drywall systems on horizontal and vertical surfaces in indoor and exterior spaces.

  • It is used on floors and walls in indoor and outdoor environments exposed to heavy traffic such as hospitals, schools, shops, and markets; on underfloor heating systems where temperature changes are excessive; and on floors and walls of metros, terminals, and bus stations with vibrations.
